| Why College Tech
Prep?
The majority of careers available
today require technical skills.
According to the U.S.
Bureau of Labor Statistics, currently 62% of all U.S. jobs now
require two-year or four-year degrees or special postsecondary
occupation certificates or apprenticeships. These talent
requirements are expected to increase to include 75% of all U.S.
jobs by 2020.
College Tech Prep
is an educational program that introduces students to technical
careers beginning in high school. Students continue their studies
through the associate's degree or beyond. In College Tech Prep,
students get real-world working experience, career exploration,
training in today's newest technologies, and the academic foundation
they need to succeed in college. College Tech Prep takes the best
things about college prep classes and technical education and
combines them into a seamless program that begins in high school and
continues with an associate degree in college and beyond.
Programs include academic rigor.

include "college prep" academics along with training in technical
skills. College
Tech Prep programs stress
